Inspired by the award ceremony of our ‘Lift-off’ competition for startups, in which students and researchers from various departments of Göttingen University present their ideas for innovative startups, with this newsletter we would like to give you an insight into the topic "Startup Promotion". We present a student startup team, an alumnus startup mentor, and our ‘Lift-off’ competition.
Even if Göttingen is calmer during the summer break, there is still lots going on at the University: On June 20, Prof. Dr. Sascha Spoun (HSG), was elected our future president. You are welcome to get a first impression with this video of his acceptance speech.
We are eagerly working together with various departments on the program for our Göttingen Alumni Day on October 26. There will be lectures, workshops, guided tours, network meetings and a special party Saturday night. We very much hope to see you there! Get in touch with your friends from your student days and arrange to meet again in Göttingen on this occasion! The program and registration are available now online.
In the current issue of the University’s newsletter uni│inform, you will receive further insights into current developments at your Alma Mater.
