The University of Göttingen and Alumni Göttingen proudly announce the Adam von Trott Ambassadors of Change International Alumni Program 2021 accompanied by the Alumni Networker Training and Change Pod Training.

Adam von Trott Ambassadors of Change International Alumni Program is an interdisciplinary platform for experience exchange and professional training at the University of Göttingen funded by the German Adademic Exchange Service (DAAD). Our purpose is to empower international alumni for implementing and communicating positive change at both local and international levels. The first year of the program in 2021 is dedicated to the 16th Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”. The first year of the program will take place in 2021, from 21 November until 28 November. Depending on the current pandemic restrictions, the program might be hold in a digital format.

The program is complimented by two optional offers for the participants: the Alumni Networking Training in July 2021 and the Change Pod Training starting in January 2022.

The applications are open from 1 March until 18 April 2021. We invite international Alumni of the University of Göttingen as well as international Alumni of other German universities with relevant educational background and professional experience to apply for participation. Application procedure

Conduct your online application by pressing the button "Register for event" on this page at latest by 18 April 2021. The portal will close at midnight.

Your application should emphasize your motivation and personal/professional benefit for your participation. You should illustrate how you are planning to apply the gained knowledge and skills, what possible stakeholders for collaboration you may identify for your professional career.

You can upload your CV and motivation statement in single pdf in our application portal. The PDF-document should be named ‘Last name - First name - Country’. You should also provide an evidence of your stay at a German university for three months and more by uploading any relevant document (e.g. enrolment certificated).

Please note: Completeness of personal data mentioned in the online application form will affect your eligibility as a participant.

After the review by the local organizing committee, all the applicants will be notified on the results of the application procedure in mid-May.
